Wilhelma - the wild side of Stuttgart
Visit Germany’s unique zoological and botanical garden Wilhelma, which is among the most beautiful in Europe. Created by King Wilhelm I of Württemberg as a moorish-style garden, it is home to 9,000 animals of almost 1,000 species. You will find countless conservatories, significant orchid collections, an aquarium with a crocodile hall and a famous coral fish collection, a great ape house, a bear enclosure, a large free-flight aviary and a demonstration farm with a petting zoo. It is sure to be an adventure for both young and old.
